PETALING JAYA: Pos Malaysia Bhd yesterday entered into a share sale agreement with Mimos Bhd for the remaining shares it does not own in Digicert Sdn Bhd for RM8.5mil. Digicert is a 55% subsidiary of Pos Malaysia. In a statement, it said Mimos had originally acquired the 45% equity in Digicert in 1999 for RM4.05mil. The proposed acquisition represented an opportunity for Pos Malaysia to wholly-own Digicert for its future profit potential and to fully realise the business synergies within Pos Malaysia. — Bernama
